Friendship Groups

Your 5th grader led their first Friendship Group this week.  We celebrated Dot Day using The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds and "made our mark" in our own way.  We had quite an interesting discussion upon their return to the classroom.  It was kind of funny to hear them talk about how some of their students didn't listen or do what they asked them to do!  They were all so excited; this is kind of a "rite of passage" in our building and something all 5th graders look forward to.  Be sure to ask your child about it!
